A husband and wife have been remanded in custody on charges linked to a 130lb bomb find in Co Tyrone.
The fully-primed device was discovered on Tuesday at a house in Sixmilecross, 11 miles from Omagh where dissident republican terrorists murdered 29 people three years ago.
Unemployed joiner Mr Stephen John Daly (28) from Glenaness Road, Sixmilecross, and his wife Helen Marie Daly (25) appeared last night at a special sitting of Omagh magistrates' court accused of possessing explosives with intent to endanger life. The couple denied the charges.
They were both remanded in custody to appear before the court again on November 13th.
During follow-up searches linked to the bomb find, another man and woman were detained in the Newtownbutler area of Co Fermanagh.
Although since released without charge, they are to be the subject of a report to the Director of Public Prosecutions for possessing information likely to be of use to terrorists.
