Aer Lingus chief executive Mr Michael Foley was granted an interim injunction in the High Court today restraining Aer Lingus from taking any further disciplinary action against him.
A sub-committee of the Aer Lingus board returned "unfavourable" findings against Mr Foley in an inquiry into alleged sexual harassment. Mr Foley has rejected the report.
Last Friday Mr Foley was advised by the sub-committee not to report for work pending the outcome of the sub-committee’s work.
The injunction restraining Aer Lingus will remain in force pending a further order of the High Court.
