Belgrade - The Serbian opposition leader, Mr Vuk Draskovic, said a car crash yesterday in which he was slightly injured and four others killed had been "an assassination attempt. Those who organised it should consider what will happen to them."
Meanwhile, more than 15,000 people marched in the centre of Belgrade as part of a continuing protest campaign against the Yugoslav President, Mr Slobodan Milosevic.
The demonstration, organised by the opposition coalition Alliance for Change, occurred without incident, despite organisers' warnings that the government planned to use agents to start trouble.
