Inquiry will focus on whether 54-year-old was assaulted at her flat last month

A woman who was found with head injuries in her Dublin flat last month has died in hospital.

She had been in a coma for almost a month and died at Beaumont Hospital yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí are investigating if the woman may have been a victim of assault.

She was found with in her flat on Ballybough Road on July 25th.
