Conference on issues of money laundering
The Irish Centre for European Law is holding a seminar entitled Anti-Money Laundering Updated: Compliance and Practical Issues, on Thursday in the Royal Irish Academy in Dublin.
Speakers include Det Chief Supt Martin McLoughlin, head of the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation; Michael Ashe SC, QC; Dr Max Barrett, National Irish Bank; Terence Donovan, Central Bank and Financial Services Authority; Brendan Nagle, solicitor, Central Bank and FSA, and Paul Reid, partner, A & L Goodbody.

Seminars on Arbitration Act
The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators is organising seminars in Cork and Galway on the Arbitration Act 2010, which comes into force tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Bar Council is holding a conference on the new Act next Saturday from 9.30am-1pm in the Distillery Building, Church Street.

Cork conference on Criminal Law
The Centre for Criminal Justice and Human Rights at University College Cork will hold its fourth annual criminal law conference, entitled "Accommodating Victims in the Criminal Justice System" next Friday at Brookfield Health Sciences at UCC.
Speakers at the conference will include Mr Justice Paul Carney, adjunct professor of law at UCC; James Hamilton, Director of Public Prosecutions, and Blaise O'Carroll SC.

ICC conference
A talk on the future of the International Criminal Court is to be hosted by the International Law Association (ILA) - Irish Branch and the Irish Society for International Law on Tuesday, June 15th, at 6.15pm, in the European Public Space, 18 Dawson Street, Dublin 2.
