Gardaí in Ballincollig Co Cork have arrested a man in his 20s after he broke into the Lidl supermarket in the town at 11.30pm on Sunday night.
He is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Guarranabraher garda station.
A spokeswoman for the supermarket said she could not comment on the incident as it was under investigation by gardaí.
