Seven men, five adults and two juveniles, were arrested this morning in Dublin’s north inner city as part of an ongoing garda operation targeting those involved in the sale and supply of drugs in the area.

The operation, codenamed “Hesitate”, was the result of a six week covert operation targeting the area of St Mary’s Mansions in particular and was carried out by gardaí from Store Street and Mountjoy garda stations and members of the Garda National Drugs Unit.

A half kilogram of the drug PVP with an estimated street value of € 17,000 was also seized along with smaller quantities of cannabis and other drugs paraphernalia.

A car was also seized and has been brought for technical examination to Store Street Garda Station.
