The last known movements of the murdered Galway taxidriver, Mrs Eileen Costello O'Shaughnessy (47), will be retraced for the Crimeline programme on RTE television as the inquiry into her death enters its second week. The programme will be recorded this week and broadcast next Monday, unless the Garda investigations yield results.
Meanwhile, a team of 30 gardai has searched the Tuam road for the last three days for the weapon used to murder the mother of two in her taxi last weekend. But Supt Tony Finnerty, who is in charge of the case, confirmed yesterday that as yet there was no definite line of inquiry.
