The trial of the world's last known second World War concentration camp commander was adjourned shortly after it opened in Zagreb when the defendant, Mr Dinko Sakic, was declared temporarily unfit to stand trial on health grounds. The trial will resume on March 15th.
Mr Efraim Zuroff, head of the Nazi-hunting Simon Wiesenthal Centre in Jerusalem, said he was disappointed. "If in 10 days it is postponed again, if this happens again and again and he isn't brought to trial, it will be proof that this country is not ready for a trial like this," he said.
