The Croatian Choir Bastina will perform a concert of Glagolitic chants in the Trinity College Dublin chapel next Monday, February 19th, at 8 p.m.
It will comprise traditional and contemporary music composed on old Slavonic texts. Glagolitic was in use in Croatia in the church and in public life up to the 20th century. The concert is being held to complement the exhibition, Discovering the Glagolitic Script of Croatia, currently on view in the Long Room at Trinity College Library.
