Springbok lock Geo Cronje willnot face any action over allegations of racism made against him,the South African Rugby Football Union (SARFU) announced today, after an investigation.
SARFU said in a statement: "The investigation found thatthere was not conclusive evidence to support or justify thatCronje had breached SARFU's code of conduct.
"Disciplinary proceedings against him based on the acts ofracism were accordingly not warranted or justified at thisstage. Should further evidence or information reveal a possiblebreach of the code of conduct by Cronje, the matter will bereinvestigated."
The decision means Cronje will be eligible for selectionwhen the Springboks name their 30-man Rugby World Cup squad at1500 GMT on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Blue Bulls player, who is white, had beenexpelled from the Springboks' World Cup training camp inPretoria for allegedly refusing to share a room or bathroomfacilities with black team mate Quinton Davids.
