The death has taken place of former GAA President Mr Séamus Ó Riain.
Mr Ó Riain, who died last night, headed the association for three years from 1967 to 1970.
A Tipperary native, Mr Ó Riain was credited with helping to found the Féile na nGael competition in 1971.
He played football and hurling with Tipperary junior hurling and football teams and held two Waterford senior football medals.

Mr Ó Riain was featured on numerous boards and committees including the North Tipperary, the Tipperary county committee and the Munster Council. He was also chairman of Tipperary NACA board for many years.
