Wilhelmsburg - Rescuers recovered five more bodies yesterday from the rubble of an Austrian apartment block demolished by a gas explosion, bringing the death toll to eight, and gave up hope of finding more survivors. One person was still missing under the ruins of the 12-apartment building in Wilhelmsburg, 60 km south-west of Vienna.
Earlier in the day, a teenage girl was pulled out alive while an 80-year-old woman had her legs amputated on site on Thursday night.
