Shane Warne's cricket career remains in doubt as the Australian Cricket Board anti-doping committee are delaying their verdict on his drugs case until midnight tonight.
Warne faces up to a two-year ban for taking a banned diuretic in January. Such a ban would effectively end the 33-year-old's international career.
An ACB spokesman said that following seven hours of evidence from seven witnesses, it was decided to adjourn.
Warne - accompanied by his mother, father, wife and brother - drove away from the hearing without talking to the media.
Warne has said he was unaware the fluid-reducing tablet given to him by his mother contained a banned drug. He has yet to explain why he took the tablet.
The ACB has said it would seek Warne's reinstatement in the World Cup squad if he was exonerated, but they have also applied to replace him if necessary.
