The Irish Youth Foundation aims to raise £250,000 from "Denim Day 1997" which takes place on Friday, October 24th.
The foundation is asking people to wear something denim to school, to work or at home and in turn donate a minimum of £1 to support its work on disadvantaged child and youth projects.
At the launch of "Denim Day 1997" in Dublin yesterday, the foundation presented grants of more than £100,000 generated from last year's campaign. Donations can be sent free to the foundation through any Bank of Ireland branch.
