The Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government yesterday introduced a new corporate identity, or logo, which it said is "reflective of how our lives and our actions are interdependent".
According to a department press release, the new logo, consisting of three intertwined leaves, is inspired by the idea of "comhshaol" or "shared life".
It will be introduced throughout the department's properties on a phased basis over the coming months.
The launch of the department's new corporate identity also coincided with the publication yesterday of its new statement of strategy.
