Derry airport is to reopen at midnight after it was closed at the weekend by the British Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) due to safety management concerns.
The City of Derry's airport management authority said it had worked over the weekend to complete the remedial works agreed with the CAA at a meeting on Friday.
The airport carried out an audit on its systems and sent it to the CAA on Saturday.
After a joint inspection by the CAA and the airport authority yesterday, both parties were satisfied that the airport could re-open from midnight tonight, the authority said in a statement.
"British Airways will operate its full programme of flights to Glasgow and Dublin. All holiday destinations will operate as scheduled by First Choice and Falcon holidays.
"Ryanair will resume their rescheduled flights to London Stansted, East Midlands, Glasgow Prestwick and Liverpool with effect from Wednesday May 30 th."
The airport said it was recognised as an "essential access point" to the region.
"We would like to thank the airlines and the travelling public for their support in this matter," it said.
It apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused over the bank holiday weekend.
"Safety has [been] and will remain the airport's number one priority."
The CAA closed the airport on Friday because of what it described as a "systematic failure of safety management".
