Derry is in line for 450 new jobs after a deal between BT and customer contact centre Stream to provide telephone and broadband services for Post Office customers.
Stream has already started recruiting technical support and sales staff at the city's Ulster Science and Technology Park and their new premises on Spencer Road.
As part of a four-year deal worth an estimated £750 million, they will manage customer service for Post Office HomePhone and Broadband customers across the UK.
Stream is the second-largest employer in Derry, and it is anticipated this new contract is likely to bring some 700 new jobs to Northern Ireland over the next three years.
