London - The British woman who gave birth to a baby boy after she was impregnated with sperm from her dead husband said yesterday she had received 500 letters of support.
Mrs Diane Blood named the baby Liam Stephen Blood after his father, Stephen, who died of meningitis in 1995. The child was born on December 11th. Mrs Blood told BBC Television: "Following the birth of Liam I have had around 500 cards and letters from people I don't know from all over the world. I had one from Australia yesterday. Everybody who has supported me has been just overwhelming," she said.
