Irish internet service provider Digiweb is to create 200 jobs over the next three years.
Most of the new jobs will be based at the company's new data and network operations centre at Blanchardstown.
The operations centre is a 24 hour monitoring and response environment, covering Digiweb's entire national wireless and fibre broadband network and datacentre, corporate connectivity solutions and manages Data Centre services.
Other positions will be available at the company's headquarters in Dundalk.
The Blanchardstown centre was opened by Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dermot Ahern.
Speaking at the opening, the Taoiseach said he was 'delighted' at the news that Digiweb was to create 200 more jobs.
"It is vital that Ireland continues to create jobs in the knowledge economy. It is also great to see a cutting edge Irish technology company expanding into new markets outside Ireland,' he said.
Colm Piercy, Digiweb's Managing Director, said it was an exciting day for the company.
"We pride ourselves in being innovative and delivering customer focused products. The operations centre will reaffirm our commitment to ongoing investment in independent infrastructure in Ireland," he said.
Digiweb also plans to expand its fibre network and to work on a new mobile broadband national network over the coming years.
Digiweb has operations in Ireland, the United Kingdom and France, and is developing a mobile broadband service in Norway. It employs 120 people.
