Brussels - A Belgian prosecutor said yesterday there had been no new source of contamination, after fears that Belgium's dioxin food scare might be more widespread than thought.
The federal government had earlier said all sources of contaminated animal feed had been traced to animal fat producer Verkest and to animal fats supplier Fogra. But on Friday the Health Minister, Ms Magda Alvoet, said another 200 farms might have received contaminated feed from another supplier, Versele, based in Deinze, near Ghent in western Belgium.
