HOUSEHOLDS IN northwest Dublin face cuts in water supply or reductions in pressure today as a result of work to replace the capital’s old water mains.

The work, part of the Dublin Region Water Mains Rehabilitation Project, is being undertaken on behalf of Fingal County Council but it will also affect homes in the Dublin City Council area.

The neighbourhoods in Dublin city expected to experience disruption to their supply from 8am to 6pm tomorrow include the Navan Road from Ashtown to the Cabra Road, Ashington, Ashtown, Kempton, The Paddocks, Nephin Road, Hampton and Blackhorse Avenue and surrounding areas.

In Fingal, the greater Castleknock area stretching towards Finglas and the Phoenix Park will be disrupted from 9am to 5pm.
