Domino's Pizza said it was confident that full-year profits will be ahead of expectations after it unveiled sales growth of 17.6 per cent during the six weeks to December 30th.
The pizza delivery chain said sales placed on the internet increased 102 per cent over the period, with total online sales for the year up 60.5 per cent to £32.2 million sterling.
Domino's said like-for-like sales for the year increased 14.7 per cent compared with 9.7 per cent in 2006.
The group said it achieved its target of 50 new stores within the year and passed its 500 store milestone during the year. Domino's is targeting 1,000 stores by 2017.
