Doncaster have abandoned their race meeting this afternoon due to frost while Ludlow escaped the cold snap and that meeting goes ahead today.
Officials at Doncaster were confident of racing going ahead yesterday but temperatures dipped much lower than expected overnight, forcing a 7am inspection.
Clerk of the course Christopher Tetley said: "We have had to abandon after an inspection. We had five degrees of frost and it's still freezing now."
Officials at Ludlow were due to check the track at 7.30am but they cancelled that inspection.
