The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) picked the Canadian city of Montreal as its permanent headquarters at a board meeting in Tallinn today.
"After four rounds of voting, the city which has attained the majority vote is the city of Montreal," WADA President Richard Pound told the board meeting after the vote.
Lausanne and Vienna were the other two front-runners to become the permanent headquarters of the sports anti-doping body.
WADA has been temporarily based in the Swiss city of Lausanne since being founded in 1999.
