A man and woman arrested in connection with the suspicious death of a man in Co Antrim were released last night pending a report to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The two had been helping police inquiries into the death of Mr Charles Elliot, whose body was found at his home in Dunclug Park, Ballymena, early yesterday.
A police spokeswoman said the circumstances surrounding Mr Elliot's death were still being treated as suspicious.
Post mortem tests have been carried out and the results are being forwarded to the DPP to decide if there is a case to answer.
The house was sealed off throughout the day as forensic teams carried out an examination.
Neighbours said the dead man had only moved into the house five months ago after living in the Harryville area of the town. They described him as a quiet person who kept himself to himself.
