The railway line between Dublin and Belfast has reopened following a security alert outside Newry, Co Down, over the weekend.
The PSNI discovered a device close to the railway line following a "Real IRA" dissident republican warning. The device had already exploded, causing minor damage.
The railway line was closed all weekend due to the alert.
The alarm follows the firebombing by the "Real IRA" of a number of Newry businesses earlier this week that caused serious damage to the local economy.
