Dublin 1-18 Laois 2-15

Dublin and Laois scrapped out a thrilling draw in their Leinster Senior Hurling Championship clash at Nowlan Park this evening.

Dublin thought victory was theirs when, in the dying stages, a Tomas McGrane brace leveled and then secured the lead but Laois replied with a free in the fourth minute of injury time.

The sides were level at half-time - an achievement of sorts for the Dubs who finished that period with 14 men after Keith Wilson was dismissed 13 minutes from the break.

Laois edged into a slender lead as the game drew to a close but Dublin - who also lost Keith Elliot on a second yellow with two minutes to play - summoned tremendous spirit and McGrane's efforts send the blue faithful wild in the stands.

However, Marty Morris' side were denied when Laois equalised from a soft free deep in injury time.

The sides will replay next Saturday at Nowlan Park for the right to meet All-Ireland champions Kilkenny in the Leinster semi-final.
