London - British Airways' striptease air hostess spoke yesterday of her relief that her employers had seen "the light-hearted side" of her airport escapade.
BA said Ms Andrea O'Neill (31) had been given "a dressing down" for parading around a Boeing 737 on the tarmac at Genoa airport in Italy in her underwear.
Dublin-born Ms O'Neill said she was "very pleased" cabin crew chiefs had taken a lenient view of her action.
By making a bet about when an incoming BA flight would arrive at Genoa, she was having "a bit of a giggle", she said.

She had bet the aircraft would be late but it actually arrived 10 minutes early. As a forfeit, she stripped down to bra and knickers and ran around the empty Boeing 737 wearing the captain's hat.
