The managing director of a Dublin company accused of sexually assaulting a neighbour's daughter was ordered to surrender his passport yesterday pending trial.
The 41-year-old southside father of five, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces 15 charges of sexually assaulting the girl from 1988, when she was 12, to 1992. Dublin District Court was told he replied "not guilty" when charged yesterday morning.
Judge Michael Connellan fixed independent bail at £5,000 and the defendant was released to appear again on October 14th.
