A Dundalk-based company has unveiled a range of Internet monitoring software products aimed at the business and personal-computer markets.
Morpheus Multimedia says its "PC Pro" software changes computer user's behaviour by developing and reinforcing a company's Internet use policy.
The software gives companies instant detection of non-business related Internet and e-mail use on all windows applications. Violation of Internet policy can then be backed up by forensic evidence generated by the software.
Morpheus claims that up to 70 per cent of inapproriate material escapes detection by existing firewalls and detection software.
The "Parent Interactive" product is aimed at the home-computing market to supply parents with real-time protection for children against pornographic material.
The software alerts parent via e-mail of any surfing violations and generates chat room logs that can be monitored by parents.
