A legal action over the refusal of Dunnes Stores to pay about €20 million to a construction company for a shopping development in Kilkenny has been adjourned to allow Dunnes to consider the implications of acquisition by the National Asset Management Agency of loans of that company.
Mr Justice Peter Kelly was due to hear the case yesterday but agreed to Dunnes’s application to adjourn the case to today to allow Dunnes to consider a letter which stated the credit facilities of Holtglen Ltd and another company, Deerland, had transferred to Nama.
