DuPont will stop production at its Kevlar-producing Northern Ireland plant for four weeks because of a fall in demand for the product, the Irish News reported this morning.

The stoppage will begin December 3rd during which the Co Derry plant's 185 workers will be moved to other duties, the Irish News said, citing Unite labour union official Philip Oakes.

Workers have been told there will be no job cuts, the newspaper said.
