Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski said today euro adoption could be risky for the central Europe's biggest economy for another few years but that real convergence was progressing fast.
Mr Kaczynski reiterated that Poland was obliged to adopt the euro under its European Union accession terms.
"Real convergence must take place. It is taking place and this process is relatively fast," Mr Kaczynski said in an interview.
"Joining the euro zone could be extremely risky for now. Such a situation will for sure last for the next few years."
