easyJet this morning said its passenger volumes in January rose 12.3 per cent to 1.7 million to bring the rolling 12 months total to 21.3 million.
January load factor - the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of seats available - was maintained at 77 per cent, bringing the rolling 12 months total to 84.3 per cent.
"easyJet continues to trade in line with our expectations and we have no reason to change the outlook we gave to shareholders in our annual report," said chief executive Mr Ray Webster.
"As then, we continue to be cautiously optimistic about our performance in the current year."
