Science teachers will take Limerick by storm next month when they hold their annual general meeting over two days on Friday and Saturday, March 27th and 28th. Biotechnology and the fruits of molecular biology are on the agenda. The possibilities of extraterrestrial life, photochemistry in action, physics, fine art forgery and the health implications of nonionising radiation will also feature.
Over 400 teachers are expected to attend. One of the most intriguing titles on the agenda this year is worth noting - "Eating carrots, blinking lights and glowing metal."
