The Achill Archaeological Field School will take place at the Deserted Village, Slievemore, from June 26th until August 20th next. The school is aimed at students of archaeology, anthropology and related disciplines and it will cover subjects such as survey and excavation techniques, planning and section drawing, excavation and survey of the Deserted Village and finds processing and cataloguing.
