The headmaster of St Andrew's College, Booterstown, Co Dublin, Arthur Godsil, has been honoured with an award from the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) for his contribution to international education. This is the first time ECIS has made such an award.
Founded in 1965, ECIS is the largest association of international schools and colleges. Speaking at the awarding of the honour at the annual prize-giving, European Commissioner David Byrne said: "Anyone who knows anything about St Andrew's College cannot fail to be impressed by the importance and continued development of the international dimension within the college."
