Application dates and fees
February 1st: Closing date for receipt of applications from EU nationals at the standard fee of £18.90. This is the last date on which you may apply for restricted-application courses.
May 1st: Late applications will be accepted until 5.15 p.m., with a fee of £37.80 for EU applicants and £56.70 for non-EU applicants. You may not include restricted-application courses in a late application.
March 15th: If you submit your application by February 1st you should receive a formal acknowledgement in the form of a statement of course choice by this date (June 1st for late applicants). You should check this statement to ensure that our course choices are correct. Any errors should be reported to the CAO immediately. If you do not receive a statement, write to the CAO immediately.
May 31st: Before the end of May you will receive a statement of application record as a final acknowledgement (if you do not get this by June 15th, write to the CAO immediately). You will also receive a change-of-mind form. Course choices may be changed (without fee) as often as desired up until 5.15 p.m. on July 1st 2000. The submission of a change-of-mind form cancels and supersedes the previous course choices. However, degree and diploma/cert choices are considered to be completely separate from each other for this purpose. Once again, you may not introduce any new restricted-application courses.
Mature students should refer to page five of the CAO handbook which lists the closing dates which apply to you.
