TWO INVALUABLE guides for those gearing up for the night class season in the greater Dublin area are the Wolfhound Guide to Evening Classes (£2.99) and Oisin publications' Dublin Evening Classes (£2.50).
Both are available now and contain comprehensive listings of a wide variety of hobby, craft, sport and career related courses.
Also worth looking out for are the course listings produced by local VEC and community colleges, which offer an extensive range of reasonably priced leisure and professional training courses. These brochures are usually put through letter boxes within the colleges' catchment areas but they can also be obtained by telephoning the college closest to your home.
However, as colleges differ in the subjects they offer, it is often worth comparing the brochures from a couple to find the courses and times that suit.you best.
