Tr≤caire has produced a booklet about Afghanistan aimed at post-primary teachers, of particular use for religious-education and CSPE classes.

Bread and Bombs provides information on the country's history and its dire poverty, as well as a series of exercises for exploring the ethical, political and humanitarian aspects of the current crisis. The media coverage of war is also explored.

Another exercise features a series of quotes from the Bible, the Koran and the teachings of Buddha dealing with issues of war and peace.
