The National Parents Council (Post-primary), in association with the Eastern Health Board, has produced a new video on drugs awareness for parents. Lets' Talk Drugs with Parents is aimed at helping parents detect signs of use and recognise "the situations where their children may be lured into the drugs culture".

According to the parents council, "drugs are a social problem and therefore their abuse and misuse must be dealt with by society as a whole. "Parents must be aware, more vigilant and realise that it is not always other parents' children who experiment with drugs."
