This year's Education Show Ireland is expected to be the biggest yet with at least 5,000 visitors from schools and colleges all over the country coming to check out the latest equipment and resources at the three-day show. The fourth Education Show Ireland will run from Thursday to Saturday, March 25th to 27th, in the RDS, Dublin.
Last year's event attracted over 4,500, an increase of 30 per cent on the previous year. This year attendance is expected to rise by a further 30 per cent.
The show features educational equipment, resources and materials. This year's range will include audio visual equipment, computers, books, software, special needs resources, furniture, pre-school materials and art materials. Over 100 specialist suppliers from all over Britain and Ireland will be present.
The event is aimed at teachers, principals, purchasing officers and managers who work in pre-schools, primary and second-level schools, colleges and universities. It also aims to attract buyers from the retail trade who are planning back-to-school stock for the summer trade.
There will be demonstrations, hands-on workshops, free samples, brochures and plenty of special offers. The Education Show Ireland is run in association with The Irish Times.
