Demand has never been so intense for parenting courses. According to Martina Dumpelton of the National Children's Resource Centre, "at this time of the year we get a huge number of calls every day from parents who want to do courses. We have a comprehensive list of parenting courses on our database."
With the help of funding from the Department of Health, the current database of courses, only two years old, is already being updated. The resource centre is keen to hear from anyone involved in, presenting or organising a parenting course anywhere in Ireland. For further information, contact Geraldine French at the National Children's Resource Centre (tel: (01) 454 9699) between 9.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. as soon as possible.
