Common-entry programmes
Students interested in food science/technology should look at the subjects offered in common-entry science and applied science programmes as it may be possible to specialise in food science. Students who take biological sciences such as microbiology and biochemistry or who study the chemical sciences at undergraduate may decide to further specialise at postgraduate level in the food area so it is not always necessary to start with a direct-entry dedicated programme.
