Forms and information about the 1997/1998 ESSO Schools' Wildlife Challenge are currently winging their way to primary schools. The project aims to raise awareness about environmental issues among school children. It's open to individual entrants who must write a poem and to groups of students who must compile a class newsletter. Closing date is Friday, April 3rd, next year. The individual winner will receive a camera; team winners will be presented with a camcorder for the school and a commemorative trophy. The teacher from the winning school will be presented with a gift voucher for a weekend away for two.
