A conference on media influences will be held in the Royal Hotel, Dublin, on Friday and Saturday, February 12th and 13th. Organised by the Teachers' Association for Media Education (TAME) in association with the Northern Ireland Media Education Association and UCI Cinemas, the conference will include a lecture on representations of youth on TV by Eddie Holt, TV critic of The Irish Times. There will also be a discussion on the responses of young people to media pages by E&L's Harry Browne, radio critic of The Irish Times , and Jennifer O'Reilly of the Belfast Telegraph.
