Career News: Tonight at 7 p.m., Radio Kilkenny's Career Desk, produced and presented by Deirdre Little, will "discuss everything from nursing, engineering and the Garda Siochana to teaching, coputing and marketing" with a panel of experts.

Last Chance: Tonight is the last of DIT current information sessions. Between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., questions on courses in transport (engineering/ management) and construction will be answered by lecturers at Bolton Street.

On Yer Bikes: Stephen Roche will give a talk on cycling safety for sixth class students in Ballinteer, Dublin, tomorrow at 10.30 a.m. Organised by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Co Council, the talk takes place at St Attracta's School. There are places for 300.

French Test: A drama competition for second-level students will be held once again in Waterford's French Theatre Festival. Next April finalists will perform their 15to 20-minute plays in French for a jury. It costs just £2 to take part, but prizes include a trip to a French theatre festival, a silver cup and a class trip to a festival film in Dublin.
