Forum on integrationThe Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) in a collaborative arrangement with the Meitheal Project, Boston College and St Patrick's College, Drumcondra, is hosting a forum for all those who are concerned with the progression and integration of students from the new communities on Friday October 19th. This seminar will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to address issues of diversity within our schools.

Music in the Classroom

A limited number of places are still available for the Junior Cert Music in the Classroom concerts in the National Concert Hall at 10.15am and noon on Monday, November 5th and 10.15am on Tuesday, November 6th. There are also some spaces available for the primary school concerts in The Millennium Forum, Derry on Monday, January 14th 2008 and in City Hall, Cork on Thursday, January 17th 2008. Dyslexia Association of Ireland Conference

The Dyslexia Association of Ireland is hosting a one-day conference to examine how the challenge of dyslexia can be overcome during adulthood on Saturday, October 20th from 9am to 5pm at the Helix, Dublin City University.

The conference will place a particular emphasis on how people with dyslexia can achieve success in the workplace.

Development Youth Prize 2007

Young people aged 16 to18 from around Europe are invited to participate in the Development Youth Prize 2007 by submitting a design or piece of artwork which for them best highlights the impact of environmental change on developing countries.
