Lunchtime Recitals at Dublin Institute of Technology: DITWednesdays@DIT, the series of lunchtime recitals run by the DIT conservatory of music and drama in Rathmines, presents its final concert before Christmas - tomorrow, featuring Eoin Flood on guitar. The concert will start promptly in the theatre at Rathmines at 1.10pm and finish at 1.50pm. Admission is open to the public and is free of charge.
DIT Launch of Findings of Young People and Crime Conference
The Department of Social Sciences and the Centre for Social and Educational Research at DIT is launching the Proceedings of the Young People's Experiences of Crime Conference on Tuesday, December 11th at 4pm in Room G6, 40-45 Mountjoy Square, Dublin 1. There will be a wine reception afterwards.

Irish Times CAO Supplement and Study Guides
The annual supplement to guide Leaving Cert students as they fill in their CAO choices will be published with The Irish Times on Monday, January 7th. In addition, special study guide supplements based on the Leaving Cert syllabus will be published on Monday, January 21st and Monday, January 28th and on Monday, February 4th to help students to make the most of their mock exams.
Special Junior Certificate study guide supplements to help students prepare for the Junior Cert exams will be published on Monday, February 18th, Monday, February 25th and Monday, March 3rd.

Development Education Funding Scheme 2008
Irish Aid, the Government's official development assistance programme, is aiming to give the Irish public the opportunity to be more deeply informed about development and global issues, the role of government and civil society, and to be more critically engaged with the Republic's overseas development programme.
To ensure development education reaches a wide audience in Ireland Irish Aid intends is increasing the provision of programmes to teachers and others involved in development education and by working within the broader education sector and with NGOs etc.
Applications are being invited from voluntary organisations and educational bodies (e.g. school networks/clusters, higher education institutions, further/adult education organisations) for grants for development education projects, which are designed to increase awareness and understanding of development issues.
Irish Aid is holding an information workshop on the Development Education Funding Scheme 2008 tomorrow at 10.30am at Irish Aid, Bishop's Square, Redmond's Hill, Dublin 2.
